I have plug in appliance modules that do not respond to "all lights on" but need a wall switch to control a whole house fan that DOES NOT respond to "all lights on". Is there a wall switch that does not respond to "all lights on" to control an attic fan? Can I modify a XPS3 to not respond to "all lights on"?

AppAppliancedmodules not respond to all lights on command for safety reasons, Say you have a heating appliance plugged in to an appliance module

Hi ji7231, rehaz1 is correct, they are designed that way. There are a number of 220V modules/switches which do NOT respond to all lights on but I think you need 120V right? not 200V. I will have to do some more research for you and get back to you.

ji7231, if you can modify your system such that you can plug in the house fan to an x-10 receptacle, one of these may(?) do the trick, [Link: extenonline.com].

They can be modified to accept all lights off, but i am not sure what that means about the "all lights on" command and how the device reacts to it, whether modified or unmodified.
