I'm having similar problem with the Kameleon 8-Device Remote. Installed the PCS dimmer switch and it works fine at the switch and via the maxi controller; however, can't get the remote to control the light through the IR543--tried all the codes listed in the remote manual.

House code A, unit Primary Address is 1. On the remote, I select the X10 device (AUX/VCR), press 1 then CH+/-, VOL+/-...nothing!

What am I doing wrong? HELP!!!

Thanks,
Don

I'm using the setup code 0167 plugged in to the CD device button and it works like a charm. X10 uses CD player codes for IR as they did not invent a new set of codes just for x10

Thanks "dad"! :) That sure corrected the problem; I'm cooking with full burners now!

I am having awful problems with the IR7243 - I have installed a home starter kit - [Link: letsautomate.com]? - My Little remote control works perfectly with the the kit, I have now purchased a IR7243 to get to work with my Kameleon 6in1 control. Firstly with the IR7243, I am able to switch off the plug but arn't able to switch the bayonet fitting off. If I unplug the Plug I can switch the bayonet fitting off perfectly? Secondly the range on the IR7243 is really really bad. It has to be about 25cm's away to get any response? Once I have all the devices plugged in I still get the same problem trying to control the bayonet and plug? Can anyone shed any light on this?! Its driving me mad. Also is there any problems with having the TM13U X10 RF Receiver/X10 Transmitter and the IR7243 on the same circuit?
