Hi,

This may sound like a stupid question but I'd like to know what exactly will a X10 relay box will do?

Thanks

I would assume you to be speaking of the box that has built in relays to control such things as sprinklers, drapes, speakers and any other thing that can be controlled with a contact closure (or opening). The Relay boxes are usually used for security system installations but can be used in any X-10 installation. They use a Powerline Interface to receive X-10 singles and close the appropriate relay.
