I found a nice CCF in the file section for using the Pronto to control the IR543. Do the infra red codes include HOUSE code, or just device code commands? Can the IR543 send out house codes that it's not set for if sent the house code with the device number and command from an IR device? I want to create macros with the Activehome software kit that would be activated with house code B commands to execute macros with house code A commands that my lights are set to. Is this possible with the IR543 without manually changing it's house code setting?

The IR543 will only control one house code. There is no way to have 1 Ir543 controlling more that 1 house code. 2 IR543's set on different housecodes would not work either as the "information" would collide and be lost. You could use a relay system with 2 appliance modules to control more than 1 housecode. Also look at the PMC01 Pro Macro Controller. This will allow you 27 more IR to X-10 commands along with X-10 macros and cost less than $100.00.

Hi Chris

Would you let me know the specifics of the PMC01.
I am in the process of attempt to implement control of different house codes with Pronto.
Looking forward to your e-mail.

Joe,
First, the price is around 130.00 not under 100.00, sorry, I was miss informed. Call 813-265-1420 for X-10's Fax back Service. Then enter mailbox # 1 and then document # 73. Enter your fax number and X-10 will send you the installation and owners manual. This will give you the best idea of what this can do for you! It's sort of expensive but it will give you a few (27) more Pronto to X-10 functions and allow macros!
