Not sure what you're trying to do - Are you trying to send the same toggle command multiple times? If so, you would create a macro on the button and embed the duplicate commands in the macro.
If you give me some more information I can try to help.

You want the button to do the following: Press 1: Select Source 1 Press 2: Select Source 2 Press 3: Select Source 3 Press 4: Select Source 4 Press 5: Select Source 5 Press 1: Select Source 1 Press 2: Select Source 2 etc.
So simple to do in Crestron with a Ring counter if it was discrete codes for each. But reading your question it seems you just want to do the same function as the Source button on the remote (Single button that scrolls through sources) so just learn the code and assign to a button.

If you have 4 discrete codes that you want to toggle through, this can be done with flags.

If you are using a two-way processor with a driver for the device you are toggling, this is done easily with a system variable check. Odd that the device you are controlling doesn't have a source command that toggles. Oz AVI mentioned flags which is another good idea, another option is to use the toggle sources driver available here: [Link: forums.rticorp.com]Vincent

I think that he has a native remote with a single “Source” button. In this case, create a macro with the required number of “Source” commands.
Rick.Fronda11: If we knew exactly what is being controlled, there is probably a better way of approaching this project.

I get the feeling it is the opposite case; he might have the discrete codes but wants to make one button to cycle through them. I think he doesn't have a source button, or the source button he has contains more inputs than he wishes to cycle through.
If I am right, your best bet is to use a system variable test (if you are controlling a driver) and flags if you are controlling a one-way device.
