I have a takeover project for a new homeowner that the XP-6 was squirrely from the start. First, I could not retrieve the program from it. Went to check firmware, and it was displaying ???.
RTI told me to load new firmware which wiped the old program. The programmer was out of state and all I could get was the basic programming with only the graphics finished, and only half the programming not completed.
I have not done much with RTI since we took on Crestron a decade ago.
The biggest problem I have now is that the XP-6 does not want to connect any longer to the network. The K4 shows up in ID, and the XP-6 did initially when the new firmware was loaded. But even though I get lights on the network switch, ID shows no connectivity, and neither does Fing or IPScan. The client wants the weather on the screen like when it was demoed when he bought the house. Since there is a network connection to the K4, does the XP-6 need to be online as well?

After spending 15 min with RTI tech support, finally got it to work. Thanks RTI! And I was only on hold for about 15 seconds.
