Haven't touched one in a while. If I remove the SDcard and put a new one in and send a new config to the unit for testing will it overwrite the old config entirely? (like is there internal mem as well?) Or can I replace the old SDCard and reboot and the old config would be there? Reason being I'm locked out of this old config and the person isn't around anymore (and I wouldn't deal with them if I could!) so I don't want to wipe right away. I don't have a spare XP8 to test on.

Overlooking the fact that end users shouldn't have the software, yes it will overwrite the file.

Who said anything about end users? I haven't done any work on RTI in a long time. I prefer other brands. Thanks for the help though I was able to reprogram everything successfully. I just didn't want to lose what was on there but I put in a config that is much much better now. The ID software has come a long way!
