Hi, I recently installed a Hunter Douglas cellular motorized blind in my newly upgraded home theater setup. The blind acts as a blackout barrier at the top of the stairs leading to my home theater room.

After learning the UP/DOWN codes from the Hunter Douglas remote (UXURC4U) using RTI's IR Pro, I integrated the codes into my T3V remote, but sad to say, the learned codes do not activate the blind.

Does anyone have the hex codes for the UXURC4U remote they can pass on, or if any kind soul can send other suggestions on how to get this working, it would be sincerely appreciated.

I should say here that I'm new to this site and relatively new to RTI programming.

Are you using an RTi processor in the system? If so, is the IR for the blinds being routed through the processor or IR direct from the remote.

If direct IR from the remote, are the buttons you assigned to activate the blinds set to standalone?

The hunter douglas shades I have seen in the past use RF to wake the shade then ir to control it. Had to install a hunter Douglas controller and then it was a 50/50 chance they worked.
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

HI kgossen, Thanks for your post. No, I'm not using a processor, just IR direct from the T3 remote. As far as the buttons being set to standalone, it's a good point, and I don't remember. I will check and report back.

Hi Glackowitz, Yes, this had occured to me. So as a test, I blocked off the IR port on the HD remote and then pressed the HD remote to 'wake up' the blind, and then immediatly pushed the programmed close button on the T3 remote...nothing happened. This test is not absolutely definite, but does indicate that the learned code in the T3 remote is not correct.

As far as I can make out, the assigned buttons are set to standalone (the apparent default setting), although I could not find any way of setting this, either thru the main menus or in the button properties window.

It recently occured to me that this capability might be a function of the T3's firmware which is currently version 1.1.0 and the most recent is ver. 2, I believe. I'm checking to see if a dealer can do a firmware update for me.
