i tried doing a search on here and found nothing.

i have a customer from two and a half years ago that will need a reworking. i cant find their file anywhere. And come to think of it, its probably on the laptop i had stolen a year ago.

any way, is there a way of pulling the file from the remote?

thanks

Yes, just use the system recovery wizard in ID. If you put a password protect on the system, then you will need to call RTI's tech support.

Hi there,

Say, what remote did you pull from?
I am on site trying to use system recovery to pull
from the t3-v with no luck. I've tried on 3 different laptops.

Cheers

make sure you use the wizard. I forget exactly what it says but there are two options and you need to use the wizard option.

Cheers,

I am using the wizard,
when i try to pull the file, the bar loads almost up to 100% and then says
'there has been a problem, check out troubleshooting. This causes the T3-V to freeze at the 'please wait' screen. Apparently this is an unusual problem, but I'll let this thread know if I get it sorted.

Does it ask you for a password?

Hi again,

no it doesn't ask for a password, and I don't remember setting one.. but i may have and just don't remember haha.

I can send to the device no prob but still no receive.

After trying everything myself and tech support could think of, I gave up and rebuilt the program. It was a long process but a valuable lesson learned.

Good luck tomorrow
You'll be alright I'm sure.. they said my situation is rare and seems to happen at
random.. and not really ever with the t3-v.. but apparently it has happened on a strange system with the t4 and windows 7.

Cheers

I have this same problem with the rp-6's and xp-8's. It takes 5-20 times to get info when there are over 5 banks. I have narrowed it down to an issue with my USB ports as it worked fine one day with my boss's never on jobsites computer.

I have that issue a few times, I narrowed it down to my computer, not the remotes. It took a few times, but I did get them.
