Hello all;

Has anyone found any current info regarding which manufacturers will be getting THX Select certification on their VCR's? E-town and THX announced this was coming last year but nothing new has been said.THX's website only gets updated about twice a year and all the possible candidates are keeping it quiet.
Thanks...
Scott.

I guess I learn something new everyday. I always thought THX certification was given to an audio decoding process, hence I never thought of giving a VCR that type of certification. I just assumed that certifications would only be seen (heard, hehe!) in receivers.

But anyways, here's some THX trivia you might enjoy:

As you may know, THX is a sound certification created by Lucasfilm (the Star Wars guy). THX was named after the title of George Lucas' first movie "THX-1138". And did you know the number 1138 supposedly appears in all of George Lucas' film? In the most recent Phantom Menace, the number 1138 appears on one of the droid's chestplate (although I haven't found it myself).
