I am installing a Phast system in my new house, when it is built in about 1 year, I would like any possible info anyone has on Phast. Good features, downsides, things to make sure I included, useless features, etc.
Any and all info would be vry helpful!
Thank you all.

I've have completed five Phast systems in the past year and half. Our company is very well trained in the instal of the PHAST system. The product has run well and the hardware and software have become stable in the past 10 months.
The system works very well as audio system, Hvac control, and has become more stable in lighting with the release of the SWIMER lighting control.
It is a very good system and is capable of controlling ANYTHING controlable.

Barry,
Your making a good choice in selecting PHAST as your residential control system. Many other systems are limited and their control types are limited. PHAST systems are interfaceable to AMX and PANJA systems for future upgradeability.
Panja is the new mother company of AMX and PHAST. PANJA is offering a new type of control system that also gives you the ability to download video and mp3 files without the use of a PC.
I think it is going to be reasonably priced.
Check out the PANJA stuff at panja.com.
Now, if you are going to use the PHAST switcher and audio distribution stuff then PHAST is definately the way.
Actually, there's not really anything out there that even comes close from a residential view.
I will tell you about one other thing, the support you will get is the best there is.
And, if you don't get someone at PHAST you're guaranteed to get someone from AMX who will help you.
If you have any specific questions you can call
1-800-222-0193 and ask for the PHAST resi team.

I second Jim's response. Although I am a little biased being in charge of the PHAST Engineering team.

You can find a local PHAST dealer by visiting our web sight to find your local Rep. The Rep will point you to a reputable dealer in your area. If you have any specific questions you can Email me at scott.manchester@panja.com
