I just bought a B&K AVR307 used on eBay. The remote is a B&K System Controller AV7.1 and once I put batteries in it, all it says is "RESET".

I downloaded the Manual for the AVR307 receiver as well as the AV7.1 remote but it says nothing about this or how to fix it.

Does anyone know what this means or how to fix it and get the remote working .. B&K was a high end audio company, but it is out of business now from what I understand.

It sounds like the remote needs to be reprogrammed. Try to contact URC, since they made the remote and the software to program it for B&K.

Did you ever figure this out? Mine is currently stuck on reset as well. Any advice is much appreciated.

As you see, this is a known issue on this remote. There is no solution. URC won't help and b&k is completely out of business. I really like my Ref 70 processor so I simply downloaded the Partner Module from Crestron and programmed my TPC-8X touch panel to handle it all. I have a near - new AV7.1 remote in the box if anyone wants it. Of course, it does have the RESET problem.
