I am trying to figure out how to hookup my pc to the receiver. I have placed the vga cable from computer and receiver... also hooked up a sound cable (Y style with 3.5mm plug on one end and red /white on other..) I have sound but no video.. trying to figure out if there is some setting i need to set? i do not have any hdmi products so not sure if the vga only goes to hdmi or what....

thanks

fyi i went with this unit.. got it used... great price.. and even ordered the ipod dock.
plus this is integrated already into my home automation.. very pleased so far...

my video card does have s-video though...

■PC-compatible analogue RGB video input – Multimedia fans and gamers will now be able to route the video output from Desktop/Media Centre PCs or laptops directly to the TX-NR708 and then through to the TV via HDMI.
