I have a BRDVD and HD cable box hooked up through a Samsung audio receiver via HDMI cables which works fine. When I try to use the TV internet feature I get no audio. I am using an optical cable from the TV out to the optic in to the receiver. The only way to get audio is to turn off the receiver and use the TV speakers which defeats the purpose of home theater. I have VUDU and ZULU and want to be able to run through the audio receiver. Any thoughts?

Do you get sound when using the TV's tuner? Ie. has the TV produced any sound through the optical cable?

Also useful would be the model numbers of the equipment involved.

I only get sound from the tv when the receiver is off. I have also tried the av jacks for audio and the same result. I will post the models this evening.
