Hello all,

I have a budget of about $2500 for a 5.1 set of speaker system. The speakers will be recessed flush mounted in the wall, so need to get speakers that can go with this configuration. I know that one can go crazy with very nice speaker system, price going into thousands and thousands...but for now that's my budget. If necessary, I can probably increase my budget a bit higher.

I have yet to decide on the A/V receiver - my initial thought is to stay with Pioneer

thank you...

happy holiday season,

Does that price include the receiver, or is it just for speakers? What about the subwoofer? Do you want a freestanding or an in-wall sub?

The price budget covers the 5.1 speaker system. The subwoofer is to be freestanding.

The budget for A/V receiver is separate.

thank for your replies.

Look into Polk, Niles, Speakercraft,
Monitor Audio, Boston, Mirage, and any number of others, they all have speakers that fit your requirements and sound great.

Just about every speaker manufacturer has in wall 5.1 sets. How about def Tech 3 - UIW 75, 2 - BPA and a Super cube II, $2,694 MSRP
Hey, careful man, there's a beverage here!
