I have a Sony SA-VA15 active speaker system which came with a model RM-J15 remote.
I would like to program my comcast universal remote to control the sony speaker system, but I can't find codes or get it to work. Would anybody have any suggestions?

moderately obscure device to be controled by a cable box remote. Highly unlikely, but your best bet is any SONY codes in the AUX section primarily with the codeset for audio, but I give it at best a 2% chance of working.

Use Sony Amplifier Code 0689 (It worked for my Radio Shack 6-in-One Remote Cat. No. 15-2104)

i'm trying to find the learning codes for my 8 in 1 universal remote from radioshack for my sa-va15 surround sound the remote i used to have was the rm-j15 remote before it broke in half

Thank you for this code! It worked for my Time Warner Cable DVR Remote. Now I can control our old speaker system :-)
