I'm thinking about upgrading my Denon 3805 which is my pre/pro mated to my Parasound Halo A51. I've looked at the Rotels, Parasound, Arcam, Anthem, and others. I will also need a tuner with whatever processor I decide to go with.

I have been leaning toward the Anthem AVM30 due to it's price and feature set.

Anybody else have any input on this unit?

yes, it is a great piece with a ton of set up options that allow you to really tweak the system, it sounds good (not great, but really good), has additional zone options. We are dealers for Anthem and Parasound Halo and I would say if you are willing to spend the $$ on the Anthem, save up the extra few $$ and get the Halo. Its all that and a bag of chips. I have set up several of both and that is my .02 and I am sticking to it.
What part of "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." do you not understand?

I'm still leaning towards the Anthem line due to their tweakability. Could you PM me with some price quotes on the AVM 30, D1 and Halo C2?

Thanks,

Mitch

Got a AVM30 with a poping sound coming from all outputs upon shutdown. Any one else? Using the balanced outputs.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.
