Surge Protectors and X-10?

I have heard that surge protectors and Uninterruptable Power Supply devices can feed noise back into the electric service lines and cause interference with X-10 devices. If this is so, are there Surge Protectors, Line Conditioners or UPS that will not cause this problem?

Surge protectors may absorb X-10 signals. Install a whole-house surge protector near your breaker box and get rid of the surge protector strips.

Electric motors and some electronic devices may generate noise that disrupts X-10 communications. Use a filter line this one to block the noise:

I have 2 X-10 both going into Radio Shacks best computer surge protector with no problems
