Hi all, When watching HDNET on Direct TV, and listening to a 5.1 broadcast the sound sort of "skips" and my AV reciever blinks. This happens every few minutes. I have a Samsund HD Sat box connected with a fiber optic cable. This doesn't seam to happen with a two channel broadcast. Has anyone else had this happen? I don't know if it's Direct TV or my equiptment. Thanks for any replys.

Sounds like the signal is a bit choppy. Receivers have to lock on to a digital audio signal, and yours is obviously losing the signal and reacquiring frequently. If it only happens on one channel, I would suspect the channel. Try finding (if you can) some 5.1 shows on a different channel and see if they exhibit the same problem.
First you should check the optical cable connection, though. Always go with the simple possibility first.
