Finally got my early Christmas present to myself - the Audiotron! I absolutely love it! I think it's super easy to use, perhaps because i had a preexisting network with mp3s on it. I buy all my music, but as soon as i get the CD, i rip it to mp3 to my hard drive and then put the CD in my rack forever. I also have an mp3 player stereo in my car so I just burn a bunch of albums on one disc. This Audiotron is like the most awesome thing - makes it very easy to find specific songs and also i have great playlists to match my moods and stuff.

Hmmm.....I do all that with my pc's. Please explain exactly what it does that PC accessing a server does not. I mean it does cost over $300 and I just don't get spending the money if you already have multiple machines on a network. I run meedio, sagetv, and J River Media player and it seems to do all that the Auditron does and more. Thanks!

essentially the audiotron connects to my receiver (optical) and to the network (CAT5 Ethernet) and plays all mp3s through the 7.1 system, not computer speakers. Also is easy to search for a title / artist / album and can play playlists. completely awesome.
