I own a STR-DB930 Sony Receiver and I've got a discrete IR code for every sound field of this receiver. However, the sound fields listed below are unavailable on my receiver.
- Sports - Digital Concert Hall A - Digital Concert Hall B - Virtual Theater A - Virtual Theater B - Virtual Theater C - Virtual Semi-Theater A - Virtual Semi-Theater B - Virtual Semi-Theater C
It is not really an issue because every sound field is defined on Sony receivers by all the following parameters : - Front, Center, Rear Frequencies & Levels (Bass, Mid, Trebble) - DRC - LFE - Wall Type - Reverb Time - Effect Size - Screen Depth - Virtual Surround
I've got a discrete IR code for every value of these parameters. So if I know all the values of these parameters for a specific sound field, I will be also able to overide all the values of an available sound field on my receiver with other ones directly from my Pronto remote (in order to "setup" an unavailable sound field on my receiver).
Then I'm looking for someone to tell me the levels/drc/lft/wall type etc. settings for the DSP modes unavailable on my receiver.
Thanks in adavnce,
Bertrand

Do you really use these? Some of them have so much reverb that I can't stand it. Maybe I'm just weird.
