i have a panasonic SC-HT70 dvd home theater system. the "home theater in a box" type of system. i was wondering if i could add a separate dvd player to this system and still be able to watch dvd's in 5.1 sound. the main unit (receiver/dvd player) has dolby digital 5.1 built in but i just wasn't sure if another dvd player would work that way also or if it is just "all inclusive" so to speak.
thanx

Does it have a digital audio input? Either coax (RCA plug, usually orange) or optical. If it does, you can use an external player and still get DD. It probably does.
