Is it using your pc to run your home theater?

Most Home Theater PC's (HTPC) are computers that primarily replace the DVD player in an HT. They are usually specially built for the HT environment with higher end video cards, quiet fans, black cases, etc. etc. etc.

Yes, check out the HTPC forum at www.avsforum.com for all the pro's and cons.

Jon Marsh is the guru of HTPC's. You can find him moderating on the HT Guide site at
