I'm trying to decide between the Pioneer's PD-F1007 301 disc Giga Changer, and the Pioneer Elite PD-F19 model. They appear to mostly the same, the main difference being that the Elite has 24 Bit D/A Conversion while the Standard one has a 1 Bit D/A Converter. I don't know what that means and if I'll notice it???? I will be listening through a DENON 5700 receiver and Paradigm Studio Ref 100 Speakers. Will I notice a difference????

Also, will it not matter which deck is used if I hook up the optical digital output from the player to the receiver?????

I have the PD-F19, and I like it a lot. It has several features the 1007 doesn't have, of particular interest is the keyboard input for entering titles and artist names!
