I'm trying to find a working remote code that will let a RM-EZ4 control a no-frills Xfinity HD cable box. According to the bottom label, it's a model "PXD01ANI", and it pretty much matches what I see on this page from the Xfinity forums.

My problem is that every single reference for this remote that I can find -- from the list that came in the box, to any online sites -- says that there's just one code for all Comcast/Pace boxes ("3107"). Unfortunately, that definitely doesn't work, and I've tried cycling through the automated "code search" multiple times without any luck.

The "SET" light on the remote seems to come on, blink, etc. correctly, and I've used the "reset" combo ("SET"-"Power"-"Vol +") over and over again, but still...nothing.

Are there any other codes I should try? (Or can someone confirm that that code has worked for them, and maybe I just got a bum unit?)

Thanks in advance for any help.

The sony remote might be set SAT by default, in that case you have to switch to CAB before it accepts a cable code.

Ooooohh...I had no idea that that was a _toggle_ button. I just assumed (logically, I think), there was just a "TV" mode, and a separate "Cable/Sat" mode, and the two buttons just switched you back and forth between those two modes.

I can't check whether that's the issue until tomorrow, but if that's true, then it's maybe not surprising I'm having problems. Thanks.
