I have an extra Dss access card that came out of a RCA DRD102RW receiver. The number on the back is F71565134236.

Is this card worth any thing?

Bob,

Some of the older cards are worth something, but I suspect your card is too old since the bottom line on it starts with an F.

The ones that are worth something usually say H.
Just to be sure check the serial number on the card. The number you want to look for is the one above the bar code. The number reads XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Email me the serial number and I'll let you know whether it's an F, H, or HU. Maybe I'll buy from you too.

Try ebay!! Usually can get 10 to 20 bucks for that old card. That card can only read DT@ old data stream which was changed to the current data stream in 1997. The only other use for it is as an ice scapper since winter is upon us.

Jeff,

The number on the back of the card is 0000 2463 5088. By the way, Yahoo.com says there is no email address junglejeff@yahoo.com

The card is an F card and is basically useless
F card serial numbers are less than or equal to 0000 3999 9999 The letter in front of the serial number on the back of the card will start with F

H card numbers on the front of the card range from 0000 4xxx xxxx to 1699 xxxx xxxx. On the back of the card, a serial number always start with an H. These cards can be tested.

HU cards are the lastest cards, they have the image of a sports player on them. These cards start at 1700 xxxx xxxx

On the back of the card, they have two serial #'s, one marked HUxxxxxxxx and the other Hxxxxxxxxxxxx.
HU cards cannot be tested at this time.
