I recently purchased a house (in Toronto) and it has an antenna tower. I was initially thinking of removing it. But after reading this site I'm thinking of keeping it to get cable TV :-)

I have a basic question regarding TV antennas. It seems I need VHF/UHF antenna that will go on the antenna tower I'm assuming. In addition to that would I need an antenna (indoor) on the TV as well? I'm picturing the TV antennas we had in the old days. I'd hate to have an antenna on my TV again ;-)

Any comments? Thanks

any uhf antenna mounted on the tower will receive available channels. No need for a TV mounted antenna.
