i just bought a voom drs-550 motorola reciever ( brand new never been autho ) i got to check and peak OTA signals. it works great for that. my question is will it allow me to view hd OTA signals? when i exit out it comes up card needs to autho'd ) any help out there. thanks in advance dave

It's pretty much a boat anchor at this time. It needed to get a download off the sat before it was fully opperational.

thanks greg c. it still funtions as a dtv off air signal meter and is quick to help set up presets on rotor anttenna systems. so if it had been activated with voom it would now work as a off air digital box. if so anyone know how to by pass addressable chip in box. i don't think it would be illeagle i just want off air signals. thanks dave
