Sorry for this simple question.... I am in Mexico...our cable box in our house is a jerrold. For the channels that we do not subscribe to it shows a rotating TV guide. Since we only get about 30 watchable channels out of the 99 on the box I was wondering if there is a way to program either through the box or the remote to delete these non- viable channels from the line-up......so that all is left is the 30 or so watchable channels when I flip through the remote.

There is a "delete" button on the remote but it does not seem to do anything.....
