Read the thread in this forum titled "Mitsu HD and RCA DTC-100: Vertical Blank Spot". There you will get general solutions for Mits HDTVs. They worked well with my VS50803 - 50 inch set. One caution though is that I have found huge differences in the 15pin D to 5 RGB connectors. The "Good Guys" had both the RCA DTC-100 and Monster cables that worked; however, the cables were twisted pair and caused some minor ghosting which I have since fixed. Also, there are annoying gray bars in some 4:3 programs (if you have a 16:9 set)that are discussed in a recent Widescreen Review article on the DTC-100. These bars are not caused by the Mits. I see them on my 4:3 set with the widescreen setting and have eliminated them using a service menu aspect ratio adjustment - I have the Mits service manual.
