Well, it looks like WNLO might be getting their HD feed from The CW going soon. Tonight, after The Amazing Race, instead of switching to Cold Case in HD we got... some sitcom from The CW in HD! On both WNLO *and* WIVB. It stayed that way for quite a while, but when I checked later it had switched back to CBS HD sometime before Cold Case was over.

Hi.
I'm subscribing to Rogers and have the SA3250 HD Terminal.
The Score HD seems to always be "stretched", whether the program itself is HD or not. The terminal says it's picture mode "normal". Anyone else have this problem? All the other HD channels behave as is.

I think you want to post in the Roger's thread.
Yes! Finally, a few years later, WNLO is going to be live. Maybe by Thursday, I hope! Strange that WIVB played it on 39, though. I hope they don't have a lot of problems affecting both channels during the changeover.

I can no longer receive OMNI 1 and 2 on channels 44 and 69. I understand they are still in test mode and are are supposed to be in production and live sometime in November.
Is anyone still receiving their test broadcasts at this time?

True, but when Omni 1 was on 47 similar to their NTSC arrangement, I figured that was more proper...

I'm not sure why they wouldn't label OMNI1 as 47-1... they could also put OMNI2 on 69-1 to match their analog stations, or maybe leave it on 44-1 since that's a nicer channel number! ;-)
I note that CFTO has messed up their PSIP again (scanned in as 40-4 on my receiver). How hard is it to not fix what (at least some of the time) ain't broke?

They were on 47-1 and 69-1, for a couple of days I think. (I previously posted they were "mimicking" their analog channels) last night my TV was finding them on 44-1 and 64-1. Guess they're still in "test" mode, or maybe they just havent decided yet ? On October 27, 2006 at 04:25, Daniel Tonks said...

Makes more sense to be on their 'traditional' number via PSIP than their ATSC number...

I agree. though the broadcasters seem to be inconsistent in this regard. On October 31, 2006 at 11:46, alebowgm said...

What's strange is that WNED PBS is still using 43 for their PSIP.
