Just installed a 4700 receiver with a Dish 500 upgrade. The receiver took the download and works great. I'm wanting to add a second room receiver, and I saw Target has the low end Philips for $49 in their ad. Is this one compatible with Dish 500? Will it be able to see both satelites simultaneously? I've already run the cabling from the disk for the second receiver. Sorry, don't have the model number of the Philips.

If no one has responded, yet, to your question about the Philips receiver, the answer is yes. There are no Echostar compatible receivers that can not be used as either the primary receiver or a slave.
