I have a top-of-the-line Panazonic LCD projector that projects true 1024x768. It has two VGA inputs and one S-VHS input.
I run all my compoents into a Sony ES receiver and from there to a DVDO linbe doubler. It outputs pure VGA which I display with the projector. Looks great with a 20-foot diagonal picture!
I am thinking about getting an RCA DTC-100 DSS receiver. I believe it has a VGA output. Does anyone know what resolutions it will output? Does it output pure progressive scan video like a computer video card?
What resolution does it output with analog TV? HD off-air TV? DSS satellite? HD Satellite?

Bill, It does output VGA. It does output progressive scan and as far as the resolution I'm not sure but I'm sure my partner can help you. As a side note, I just installed my 3rd DTC 100 and It is the best picture I've ever seen. This one we hooked up to the VGA output port on the DSS with an RGB breakout cable cable directly to a JVC/Huges DLP projector. Our custom sales guy can probably answer your resolution question and any other tech questions you might have about that piece. We just got E-Mail at our store so I'm not sure of the address but we are in Denver @ 303-761-7277 (The Big Picture) ask for Jim Sandridge.

From what I've read on the DTC-100, it outputs at 800x600 throught the VGA port.
