I plugged the video/audio out RCA from the 5000 receiver to my VCR RCA inputs.
I swith my VCR to Line1 or Line2 to choose the input source (front jacks or rear).
I can not get my VCR to record anything.
Do I need a S-VHS to record from DSS?
Thanks to the kind souls aout there.

I run my Video thru a Sima Copymaster before going into the VCR. I have been able to copy both onto VHS and SVHS tape this way.
Works for me.
