I have DTC-100 and Mitsubishi WS65903 HDTV, with VGA to BNC-HV adapters for high definition signal.
1) Using the regular ANTENNA without activating HD MONITOR button in the front panel, all Channels work fine but they were not HD signal.
2) If HD MONITOR button in the front panel is activated, the TV screen goes blank!!!
**Questions: is it the ANTENNA? (I have a big good one on the roof)or is it the VGA to BNC-HV adapter? or are there any settings inside the TV or DTC-100 that need to be set? or are the two units not compatable? Please help!
***Anyway, all digital channels are about a little better than the picture from the cable but for sure it's not HD!!!

Thank you,

Antoine Vu

You will need to go into the 'wimpy' service menu and choose input type as 1024 I think. It's been a while since I did this, but ifyou use a search engine for mitsu hd service mode you should come up with the right numbers. There are two modes, one is MENU 2 3 5 7 the other is the one you want. Sorry, that's the menu I don't regularly use.

One more thing, DO NOT MESS WITH THE MENU 2 3 5 7 settingsunless you know what you're doing.

When a DTC100 is connected to a Mit xx805 or 905.

On the Mitsubishi input #1 is the HDTV input
from the 5 BNC inputs on the back panel. These are
the HDTV from the DTC 100.

If you are not using the HDTV function of the DTC
100. Normally you be connected to the input #2
of the Mits.

Therefore if I am watch regular TV or DTV on input
#2 and I push the HDTV button on the DTC100, my scren
goes blank untill I go to input #1.

Also the Mitsubishi powers up to input #1.

You also may notice that each HDTV signal may produce
a slightly different picture depending on how they
are upconverting.
