it appears that the dtc100 will lockup and need to be unplugged to reset upon reception of certain local hdtv channels,(including wbns dt21, columbus, ohio). it seems something in their output causes the unit to freeze. the local affiliate is investigating. anyone know of this, or a fix?

Paul, you may be able to answer a question I've asked of my local installer. ie. Can I get HDTV reception through DirectTV local service on my DTC 100?

if you guy's are talking about problems on local chnnel reception from directv, and not local channel reception from an off-air antennae, then i'll give you a phone number.....1-800-323-1994, thats directv's dealer line which does not have the long wait like the consumer number...i believe u want ext 450, or get any operator, and ask for directv tech support.........ask the young gentleman about your particular problem....its their feed you are accessing , so he might be able to help ....good luck
