I recently acquired a very old Kenwood kr-v7050 audio/video receiver (manufactured 1993) with no remote, and purchased the inteset 422 universal remote hoping to get it working with the system. None of the codes from the manual worked, and I've been browsing the web for hours looking for five digit codes that are compatible with with the receiver.

Knowing very little about how remotes function, I decided to consult the professional remote community for help...

According to the receiver's manual, the original remote was a RC-R0700. Is there any way of getting a five digit code that will work with the system?
