Looking for some advice from anyone familiar with this remote. I purchased this last week and had no issues setting it up except for the Master Power feature.

I'm trying to program this feature to power on/off 3 components, cable box, TV and AV Receiver with one push of the power button.

I've got the three components set up on the remote so I know it recognizes them and I can turn them on and off individually by choosing the appropriate device key but when I try to program the Master Power Feature I can only get it to work with one device, not all 3 at the same time.

I've read and re-read the instructions on page 16 of the manual and tried over and over but each time I program it only one device is turned on or off and I can change which device that is by which key I hit first when programming but it's not taking all 3 for some reason.

As a workaround I've programmed a macro to do this but I really would like to get it to work on the appropriate power button since that is a feature of the remote. I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Any help or insight is appreciated.

Did you try putting a macro on the master power key? Almost any key can hold a macro.

No edmund I haven't. I thought about it but the manual says macros can only be assigned to the 1 - 8 number keys.

I'll give it a shot anyway and report back.

Tried programming a macro to the power button and it didn't take, guess the manual was correct on that one.

Here are the steps on page 16.

Programming the Master Power Key
1. Press and hold the P key for 3 seconds until the
LED indicator turns on and stays on.
2. Release the P key.
3. Press the device key you want to add to the
power macro.
4. Press the CH + key and the LED blinks.
5. The LED stays on.
6. Follow steps 3 and 4 to add more devices to
Master Power.
7. When all devices are added Press VOL + key to
enable Master Power.
8. Press the P key to complete the process.

I am just curious, after you enter the first device and press the CH+ key, the LED blinks and stays on, correct?
Then, when you press the next device key to add the second device and press the CH + key, the LED blinks again and then stays on, right?
The LED stays on until you press VOL + then P, when it goes off.

Just checking for the proper feedback from the device during the programming process.

I'm having the same problem and I have followed the steps many times. Does the order I add them in matter? Any help is appreciated!
