I'd be very grateful for your help. For the past 12 months , I had an Atlas 1055 remote for my SD Box. I was able to program it using device codes , and for my Samsung HW-D450 soundbar , I used the learning function as I couldn't locate any codes.

I've just purchased a new DVR that comes with the Atlas 1056B03 remote. I tried to repeat my previous success , but when I enter learning mode and press the matching keys , the AUD light stays solid until it goes out completely , without learning anything. My remote for the soundbar works fine..that's not the problem. I even tried learning a function from the TV remote , and the same thing happened. It's as though the learning function isn't active on the 1056 ?

Currently , I've unlocked the volume control ( it's active on CBL and adjusts the volume via the STB ). I'm about to do a factory reset and try again as I'm not sure what else to try ?

I own a 1056B03 which was originally supplied from Time Warner Cable. It does not support learning, and does not blink twice after entering 975, which indicates that the command was not recognized.

Does your 1056B03 respond with 2 blinks to 975?

I believe I have the answer. It appears there are 2 models. 1056B03 and 1056BC. They are listed here

If you click on the Device Code link for each model , the 1056BC page shows a link for the learning instructions. The 1056B03 does not. At least now I know why it's not taking the commands ! I'm going to see if I can keep the 1055 which came with my SD box. Does everything I need.
