Hi, my wife has MS and has trouble with remotes.
What I need is a remote with just a few buttons, and the ability to program them from other remotes.
Can anyone point me at something?
FWIW: she only has use of one hand, and it's limited.
She needs to get into the Direct tv 'guide', move up or down, and select.
That's really all she needs, but all the remotes I see have myrids of buttons that get in her way.

I doubt any of the weemotes have code for the current line directv receivers, only remotes in the last year have had codes for them.

How about the rc32BB big button remote from directv: it's the middle remote in this photo:

Well, the Weemote DV version can always learn codes... :-)
