I came across this: [Link: remotecentral.com]However, this did not work. My SV2000 remote does match the one in the picture of one of the posters. Here is my Remote/Receiver unit: [Link: directv.com]Any help getting this to work with the receiver remote would be appreciated. Thanks.

sorry but you're out of luck with rca remote. Your tv/dvd combo uses a dvd codeset, but the only dvd codes in the rca remote are for rca dvd players.
Anyways even if there were a dvd code in the rca remote for SV2000, it would be missing the volume commands, since only tv codes map volume commands to the volume keys on RCA remote.

Well, I could care less about the DVD player. I don't use it that much. I was just looking for something that would work to enable the t.v. to be turned off/on and the volume to be adjusted.
