Has any one used this remote for remote control of the lights and what remote light system are you using? If the IRIQ won't read RF what do I need to convert to IR. I don't want to use an IR light system.

Hello,

You can set up a relatively inexpensive infrared controlled lighting system with x-10. You will need a remote that has the infrared codes (all for one and some ratshack models, or one from x-10), and and IR-543 infrared-to-x10 interface (about $25).

You are limited in number of different addresses you can control, but it will dim/brighten and turn on and off about 6-8 different ones, I believe.

Hope this helps.
