Hello,

Just got a Take Control remote.

Is there a way to edit the placement of the buttons on the device screen. For example is it possible to move the power button from from its present position at the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen?

All help appreciated.

Regards,

Dave

No I don't think you can. The device screen(s) have all of your buttons for that device's remote. I myself do not use the device screens, but rather setup activity screens for all the buttons I will use. For instance, for my DVD player I have a DVD Menu activity, DVD Play activity, with shortcuts to each other. On the DVD play activity, I have the play, speed, fast forward and rewind type buttons. On the menu activity I have the arrows, enter and menu type buttons. I do not use the device screens at all. Its too bad you can't rearrange them, but I just use activity screens like I would device screens. I set up a macro and have it end with the menu screen. This way I can view all the extras before I start the movie. Then all I do is take the shortcut to the play screen when I want to start the movie. Good Luck!
