Where can I find a universal remote that can control a Sony SA-VA1 set of powered speakers? My wife hates having to use multiple remotes and just sets the sound to use the internal TV sppeakers on the Sony WEGA KV-40XBR800 TV. The Sony TV remote can't seem to control the volume on the SA-VA1 speakers. She has asked for a universal remote but I can't find one that mentions the SA-VA1 or the RM-VA1 remote that controls the speakers.

You probably won't find a universal remote that can control your speaker sound, but any universal learning remote should be able to learn the commands from your speaker remote, if you have it.

The 8810W at Walmart for $18 should work very well for you if you don't need a lot of options or have a lot of other commands to learn.

Thanks. The frustrating part is that the Sony 40" TV came with a learning remote. However, the volume control can't be set to run the speakers instead of the TV. It is very frustrating.

Thanks again for the help.

That won't be a problem with the URC-8810
