Well, our puppy ate her first remote - the one for our Denon AVR 1805 ht receiver. It's totally non-functional, so I need either a direct replacement or a universal remote that has this specific model already setup. Any thoughts?

Try a $17.00 one for all remote like the 8810w at wall mart. If the built in codes do not work your devices....get into jp1 programing of the 8810 remote. You can make it do most any ir control and other cool things on your computer. for more info on the JP1 thing go to yahoo groups and serch JP1. its pretty cool. I have been playing with my 8810 and now have it doing what my friends $300.00 home theater remote does. good luck!!!!
