I have a Toshiba (CT-9954) remote and the volume button it not working very well, I have taken it apart and cleand it out but the buttons still dont work. I moved the buttons down and the volume buttons work fine. is there a way to fix the button contacts, I have found a site thats selling a paint to fix the buttons. http://www.keypadrepair.com/ but for this price I may just order a new one.

Thanks in advanced.

They have the right idea but the wrong price, you can get the kit much cheaper here...
CircuitWorks® Rubber Keypad Repair Kit

Also, take a peek in the battery compartment of your remote, if you see a small 6-pin connector, your remote is JP1 compatible which means you can re-program it from your PC. If you don't see the 6-pin, never mind.
