I have a RCA Direct TV receiver made by Hughes. I just bought a Hughes Direct TV remote off ebay. It's a nice, basic remote that has codes for my dvd, tv, and vcr. However, the remote didn't work on the satellite, and no satellite codes are offered in the brief manual. What can I do?

Not a thing, Hughes Sats use a completely different remote codeset then Rca. Why don't you get yourself a good universal remote, like one-for-all/radio shack.
