I just purchased a OVA 6131 modified that is working great and can control my Echostar 301 and 510 sat receivers individually. I had to change the address of the 510 to 2 but other than that, a painless setup.
I have a 6012 that I would like to keep around but am having problems getting it to work. I changed the CBL key to a second SAT key but I can't get both sat's to program. I can get the 301 programmed to either the SAT or CBL key with code 0775 but when I try to put in the 510 with 1005 or 1170 I get an error flash from the remote light and can't control it.
Any ideas. Should I set the 301 to address 2 and then the 510 to 1 and try that or am I out of luck? Out of curiosity I set the 510 to address 3 but still no luick.

There's only one address in a non-hacked OFA remote. Unless you modify it,you're out of luck. You could send it in to UEI for an upgrade, it will come back as jp1 remote, with codes you need.
