I am trying to use either the philips pronto series or the home theater master series (perhaps the mx 800) to control a commercial dlp projector - nec hd6k. Certain features (like turn off) require that the IR signal be actually be sent continuously for about 3 to 5 secs. Other features require a two stage macro which also requires that I have longer IR transmission time than just a blip.

Which remote would have the feature to control the length of the IR transmission?

noneof these remotes have a feature for extended transmition, but sometimes (used it with Prontos a lot) you cna build a macro that sends the code over and over again. On the other hand onmy NEC projector there is a menu setting where you can switch from long press to confirmation page.

as for

I think the MX-3000 has it (not sure) but not many of them

I am hoping the 950 has it, and if so I'll get two.
