Has anyone had any luck training their remote(s) to learn the commands of the NAD 705 receiver? I've tried a couple of Sonys and OneForAll remotes and they control the volume and power without problems, but I cannot change inputs (CD/AUX/Phono/Tape etc.) with any of them.

Thanks!

Roberta

Do you still have the One For All remote? If so, please state which setup code you are using, and the model number of the remote. Chances are good that you can program buttons to select the inputs using advanced codes.

Hi!

Thanks for the quick remote. Yes I still have the One For All Cinema 6. I used code 0320 for the NAD receiver using the RCVR selector.

One For All remotes let you use a concept called "advanced codes" to re-program the individual buttons. You can read up on the concept itself here:

You can find the programming instructions for your Cinema 6 here:

And the specific codes that you would need for your NAD are here:

According to my files, several of the input codes are already assigned to some of the numeric buttons. Here's the complete list of input codes...

192 cd (0 button)
175 video1 (2 button)
173 video2 (5 button)
177 video3 (7 button)
149 video4
153 video5
193 fm
191 am
063 tape

Oops. I can't seem to figure out how to access the AUX, Phono, Tape 1 and Tape 2 inputs from the Cinema 6. Am I out of luck?

Am I out of luck then? I could get rid of all of the other remotes if I could only figure out how to access the "AUX" function of my NAD 705. Will a JP-1 work with this remote?

Hi Robman Supermember...

You seem the only one in the world that can understand and maybe answer my question:

How can I program the TV device selector button on my brandnew NAD HTR 2 remote to produce my Panasonic TV sound on my NAD 705 receiver? Do you have any instruction?
The sound of my TV set is connected to my NAD 705 through the regular videosound pulgs. It works, but not on any button of my new NAD HTR 2 remote (CD, tape, phono and pc sound do work). My old NAD 705 remote is out of order, so I cannot give learning commands from it to mu new remote.
What now?

I know about "One For All" remotes, I don't know anything about NAD remotes. Sorry.

Thank you, Rob!

I have tossed out the other remotes, as I can now control all of the NAD 705's features I needed with the Cinema 6.

Where can I send the check?

Why, to me of course! :)

Btw, you do realize of course, that you are the female counterpart to a very famous folk/rock singer, don't you?
